Disclosures to all subscribers of Alertizen - The Active Block Watch program.

A. Safety. Alertizen was designed to keep you informed of police-related events in your neighborhood. Please keep in mind your safety and the safety of others, including the officers responding to a 911 call. Do not place yourself or others in a dangerous situation or attempt to interfere in police related business based on the information that you receive from the Alertizen Program. If you have information relating to an alert notification, or you witnessed an event for which you received an alert notification, please contact the Police Department.

B. Data. The data you received from Alertizen is the initial information provided by a caller to 911. This information may change or be updated as the situation progresses. Please also be aware that the information provided to 911 as you see in the alert notification may not be accurate. For example, the address provided to 911 may not be the actual, verifiable address of the property in question. The data you receive through Alertizen is for informational purposes only.

C. Service Charge. Please understand your cell phone service plan before signing up for Alertizen. Your service provider may charge for incoming date services such as push notifications. This cost is not associated with Alertizen and is not from the City/County and neither the City/County nor Alertizen is responsible for any charges you may receive. Please contact your mobile phone service provider for more information.

D. Delay of Information. Alertizen is not providing 'real time' information. Under the current system operated by 911, information provided to Alertizen may be on delay of up to 15 minutes or longer.

E. Call Status. The call status you receive is the initial status of that 911 call and will change as the call is closed out or further police involvement becomes necessary.

F. Sponsored Advertisement. From time-to-time Alertizen may send a sponsored push notification/email. By registering, you agree to receive a special offer from our sponsor (maximum of one offer per day) by push notification and/or email if you also request 911 Alerts to be sent there. Please support our sponsor that is helping to provide Alertizen to our community for free.

G. As-Is Service. Alertizen makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, with respect to the quality, content, accuracy, completeness, currency, freedom from computer virus, or non-infringement of proprietary rights, of any of the design, information, text, graphics, images, pages, interfaces, links, software, or other materials and items contained in or displayed on this site. All such items and materials are provided on an "as is" basis, and you are fully and solely responsible for your use of them and for any results or consequences of your use.

H. No Liability. Neither you or Alertizen (parent company Tele-Home, LLC) will be liable for a delay or failure to perform an obligation to the extent that the delay or failure is caused by an occurrence beyond the party's reasonable control. Nor for any inaccurate information that may be sent to subscriber. Each party also acknowledges that the operation of the Internet and Cell Phone is beyond the other party's reasonable control, and neither party will be liable for a delay or failure caused by an interruption or failure of telecommunication or digital transmission links, Internet slow-downs or failures, or other such transmission failures. Additionally, 911 data is provided from your respective community/governmental 911 call center and passed through The Northwest Ohio Real Estate Information System (NORIS) before arriving at Alertizen for processing. Any of these entities, at their will and without consent or control from Alertizen, may delay or terminate the 911 data feed. If this should happen, Alertizen will attempt to reestablish the 911 data feed. If such attempts fail, and Alertizen cannot obtain the 911 data feed from these governmental agencies for whatever reason, Alertizen will be forced to discontinue service and shut Alertizen down. Additionally, should Alertizen run out of funding or not be able to continue operations without a community sponsor, this will force Alertizen to discontinue service.

Alertizen provides alerts only in the following areas. Do not subscribe if you do not see your area in this list.

- Toledo, Ohio
- Waterville, Ohio
- Whitehouse, Ohio
- Sylvania Township, Ohio

J. Subscriber Referrals. An Alertizen subscriber in good standing may refer a non-subscriber to join Alertizen through a unique link provided within their Profile under Referrals – Share your referral link.
